Hoover defensive lineman Kerry Murphy was a strong lean to Alabama since the beginning of his recruitment. The coaching change in Tuscaloosa did not change his top college choice.
Murphy took an official visit to the Capstone this weekend and ended his recruitment as he committed to the University of Alabama. The Scout.com four-star defensive tackle chose Alabama over Auburn and Miami.
The 6-5, 320-pound defensive lineman is a big pick up for the Tide ranking as one of the state’s top overall prospects.
